Our Story

A leather house, before it was a leather brand.

Luxora didn't start in a boutique studio or a design school sketchbook. It started on a factory floor in Kolkata, over a decade ago, at Rohan Gloves - a government-recognized export house that has spent years manufacturing leather goods for industries and clients across the world.

That's not a footnote. It's the whole reason Luxora exists.

Craftsmanship you can't fake with a good Instagram feed

Most D2C leather brands are built backwards - a brand comes first, then a search for someone to make the product. Luxora came from the opposite direction. The tanning knowledge, the cutting precision, the quality control that export markets demand - all of that already existed inside Rohan Gloves, refined over years of making leather goods that had to meet international standards before they ever left the building.

Luxora is what happens when that same house turns its attention to something more personal: bags women actually want to carry, made with the same rigor that used to go into export orders nobody outside the industry ever saw.

Why we started Luxora

We kept asking a simple question: if we can make leather goods good enough for export, why should Indian customers have to pay international-brand prices to get that same quality? Luxora is our answer - genuine, export-grade leather, handmade with the discipline of a manufacturing house, sold directly, without the markup that comes from having five brands and a mall lease sit between the factory and you.

Where we're going

Luxora is still early - we're building this piece by piece, city by city, bag by bag. But every piece carries the same standard the factory floor has held for over a decade: real leather, real construction, made to be kept, not replaced.
